Clouds
are one of my favourite photographic subjects. Many I have made into Panorama
Shots but the ones here are single cloud shots. Annotated where possible - apologies
if my definition is incorrect!
Taken
from the garden. Cirrus often precedes a front and this came creeping in quite
fast from the South East.

Summer
Cumulus - some showing signs of brief but heavy rainshowers. Taken over Chesterfield
from the moors above whilst on a bike ride.
Taken
behind the village. This line of trees may feature in several of my shots as
it sits so photogenically on the horizon. Cumulus boils like a volcanic pyroclastic
burst.

This
was a spectacular sunset. Low (dark here) cumulus in front of stratus sunlit
clouds. See my Panorama section for a complete
skyline shot.

Pulpy Stratus
Golden
Sunset
Very
cheesy - but one for your grandma. Need I say more.
I
took this after stopping the car on a road between St Ives and Somersham in
Huntingdonshire, Cambs. A strange "wet paper" sky undulating with
a sort of ordered turbulance. Stratus Cloud I think.
