Although many of these are not strictly "macro" shots - they were taken with the Macro Mode. Macro is one of the best features of the Olympus range of cameras.
On the walk I do every day to work, the fields in summer were studded with dandelions gone to seed. A beautiful sky enhanced the shot.

Oak Apples
Wet Rocks
Snow sits like fluff on a cluster of oak apples. The weevils have drilled into the apples leaving the holes.
Clare took this on her Olympus 2020Z near the top of Laddow Rocks where the stream crosses the path. Wonderful depth of field.
All pictures here were taken with my Digital Camera!

Snow on Willowherb
The snow on this French Willowherb looks almost like foam. The pine in the background mirrors the stalk.
Icy Leaves
Cow Parsley Seedheads
Clare took this brilliant shot vertically down on a dead stem of cow parsley. Download the main picture - this thumbnail doesn't do it justice.
I liked this because it was a quick shot that turned out well. The broomstick leaning against the house can be seen refracted in the icicles melting from the leaf in the early weak sunshine.
