These are one of the benefits of digital photography. Using software it is relatively easy to stitch together multiple images to create a panoramic view.
Part of our Iceland cycle trip was Godafoss. Here a six picture stitch to show the size of the falls.

Kjolar Route - Iceland
Godafoss Falls - Iceland
This is pretty much what the Kjolar route is like - I like this because it shows the barren beauty of the landscape. You can just see my wife and brother-in-law in the distance on their bikes.
Zoom into Godafoss. A person in it for scale.
All pictures here were taken with my Digital Camera!
Dark Peak Winter
A typical Peak District winters day. Here looking from Derwent Edge towards Bleaklow.
Sunset over Stanton Moor
Village Pub sunset
The pub across from where I live in Tansley. Here contrails and clouds reflect and refract red in the dying sun.
A view from my parents house one evening. I particularly like the street light as I thnk it lends it such realism and scale.
